Castle of Thorns is an adventure visual novel following Maeve and her cat Hercule.
Maeve is a witch who solves problems. This one came by letter. Anonymous. A cursed place, the letter said. Avoided by everyone from afar.
A castle. Slowly swallowed by swamp as thorned vines strangle it. Forgotten by everyone except whoever sent that letter.
Something happened here centuries ago. The souls left behind don't fully understand it themselves and neither does Maeve. Each ghost carries a piece of the truth. Each case solved brings her closer to the center of something she wasn't expecting.
A visual novel with point and click elements. Made in the style of classic adventure games, with puzzles that don’t interrupt the story but enhance it.
