ToyBox Security

Ever wanted to booby-trap a house like a kid left home alone? An asymmetric multiplayer comedy game for 1–4 players. Rig the place with everything from toy cars to blowtorches, and make it hurt. Or play as the robbers: grab the loot, catch the kid, hang them on a coat rack before the cops show.

このゲームについて

You've seen how this story goes. The parents head out, a pair of dimwitted burglars sneak in, and one very prepared kid turns the whole house into a booby-trapped war-zone.

ToyBox Security runs on exactly that idea, except here it's a real company, and it's staffed entirely by kids. When homeowners head off on vacation, a kid agent shows up with a duffel bag full of toy-based mayhem and a plan. Then the burglars show up.

ToyBox Security is an asymmetric multiplayer comedy game for 1-4 players. Two teams, two completely different jobs, one house that won't survive the night.

How a Match Works

Two phases. In Preparation, the kids set up the house, placing traps and locking in their loadouts while the robbers wait outside and plan their way in. In Execution, the robbers break in and the clock starts. The cops are already on their way, so everything has to happen before the sirens do.

Play as the Kids

The house is your turf. Build a loadout of traps, abilities, and a main weapon, then make the place a nightmare to break into.

Soak intruders with a water gun, or wind up a Tommy Gun and let the countdown do the talking (you know the one). Slam and lock every door in the house at once to buy yourself a breather. Spawn an RC car, drive it right under a robber's feet, and watch him eat the floor. And grabbing the loot is only step one. You've still got to haul it to the laundry chute and drop it to safety before anyone catches you.

Your traps don't just slow robbers down. They hurt. A toy car patch is a warm-up; a blowtorch rigged to a doorframe is a statement. Wear them down, rack up the pain, and make the house too expensive to rob.

Traps With Variants

Every trap has variants, so the same loadout slot plays differently every match. Your blowtorch can throw fire or flash-freeze with ice. Your bucket of sludge can be a slick of oil or a pit of tar. Same slot, brand-new ambush.

Play as the Robbers

Four-foot security doesn't scare you. Build a loadout of heist tools and abilities, get inside, and take the house apart.

Dash past a trap before it springs. Cut the lights and work in the dark. Smash a locked door clean off its hinges, or throw a ladder up to a second-floor window and skip the front door entirely. And when a kid gets cocky, hold perfectly still and hide in plain sight as a completely innocent lamp until they wander right past.

Then comes the signature move: catch the kid, haul them across the house, and hang them up on a coat rack. Loot the place while you're at it: TVs, toasters, whatever fits in the bag.

Everything Reacts

Fire, water, ice, electricity: the pieces all play off each other. Soak a robber with the water gun and he takes way more shock damage. Set him on fire, then soak him, and congratulations: you just put your own trap out. Learning the combos is half the chaos.
